While taking a little off-roading adventure just now, I was noticing how particularly red the DogStar was as well as a few others in the sky. Read-up a bit on Red Giants which is apparently what a star becomes when it runs out of hydrogen to burn, though it still wasn’t clear on weather that is what makes a star appear red, I also found this wiki answer to make some sense…ah why bother, its not that cool to be a know-it-all.
